COACHING

for international development, education, and humanitarian professionals and organizations

What is Coaching?

Definitions and understanding of what coaching is varies around the world but how the International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching resonates with me:

"a partnership where the coach encourages a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the coaching client to explore their goals, values, challenges and dreams so they achieve their personal and professional potential."

Meet Ashley, Principal Coach

Ashley is an ICF-credentialed coach, facilitator and global education specialist. She created Rippletree as a way to bring her 30+ years of experience as global educator and humanitarian into a space that supports the people behind the work: the leaders, teams, and individuals working tirelessly to put their values into action and make a difference in education, development, and humanitarian spaces.

When you partner with Rippletree for coaching, you are working with her directly, whether through leadership or team coaching.

Take a look below for how she can support you and feel free to reach out for a call to discuss.

Approach

Ashley uses a combination of growth-oriented and solutions-focused (SF) coaching approaches. SF coaching is a strengths-based, future oriented approach that emphasizes finding solutions to challenges rather than dwelling in the past or the problems themselves. SF coaching can be applied to individuals, teams, and organizations for different purposes across a wide range of contexts.

She partners with clients and asks powerful questions to inspire deep reflection and prospection. Through this process, she helps you elevate self-awareness, tap into existing strengths and resources, and uncover clarity and direction for both present and future success. Her coaching approach is centered on empowering clients to discover solutions within themselves and take meaningful action for positive lasting change.

Client Testimonials

Ashley is an excellent coach. She is passionate about helping her clients find the motivation to make meaningful progress against their own goals and benchmarks. She incorporates curiosity, compassion, and commitment in her work.

I began meeting with Ashley at a time when I was looking to make a professional pivot and was not sure how best to organize my thoughts, prioritize options, and proceed. She helped me clarify what I was trying to achieve both longer term and during each session. She asked poignant questions and reflected on my responses in such a way that I finished each session clearer headed and focused on next steps.

Ashley also provided tools for me to conduct self-guided, values-based exercises that helped me prioritize my goals.
