As part of Rippletree's commitment to impacting societal change, Rippletree reinvests time and resources to help strengthen the people and ecosystems behind the work. Some of the work core to our social enterprise model is to provide direct support to community leaders and organizations. Other efforts contribute to the social impact sector more broadly.
As a social enterprise, Rippletree reinvests our profits into providing pro bono and subsidized coaching, facilitation, organizational learning support, and education technical assistance for local, community-based leaders and organizations in low-resource and crisis-affected settings who do not have the resources for such services.
Currently, our work focuses on supporting refugee and migrant leaders, teams and organizations in South and SE Asia working to strengthen education and social cohesion in their communities.
The Inclusive Education Foundation is a community-based non-profit based in Mae Sot, Thailand. INED works with teachers, schools, and education leaders to ensure that all children on the Thai-Myanmar border can access high-quality and contextualized education that meets their needs.
Rippletrees' collaboration with Inclusive Education (InEd) builds on a long-standing relationship spanning more than seven years. Over this time, Ashley has supported INED with strategic planning, webinars, education workshops and project design—both individually, in her role as Education Advisor with Save the Children Thailand, and now as a learning partner through Rippletree. Most recently, our partnership has focused on a comprehensive Leadership Development and Team Coaching Program, designed to strengthen personal and organizational leadership across their teams.
Through Rippletree, Ashley, an ICF-accredited coach, provides ongoing coaching and support to local leaders of small, community based organizations, many of which are refugee or displaced person led - working with and for displaced populations - along the Thai-Myanmar border, where leadership support is often scarce.
The Grounded Idealist is a network of displaced humanitarians, learning specialists, and coaches who came together to support individuals impacted by the US government funding cuts. Through Rippletree, Ashley also provides free coaching under their Coaching Collaborative, a global initiative to support individuals directly impacted by workforce reductions.
Together with Laetitia Antonowicz, Ashley facilitates a Community of Practice (CoP) for global education consultants to come together on a quarterly basis to connect, learn, and support each other in a shifting sector. Consultants are members of the Women’s Consulting Workshop FB Group.
